Beef liver is packed with vital nutrients and was recognised as a "superfood" before the trend of superfoods was invented. Our ancestors were eating it long ago due to it's health giving properties, and after going out of fashion it is recently being recognised again.
If you're new to eating liver, the taste can be strong to begin with. The trick is to combine it into other beef dishes until you get used to the flavour. However, the simplest way to cook it is the classic liver, bacon and onions recipe.
Beef liver comes as frozen - since it is an organ meat it gets frozen from fresh, and does not get dry aged for 21+ days like our beef.
